Piranha?!

The Spaniard Paco Orti could not find a better nickname in 2001. During a successful Spanish GT season, the “German Guy” taught his competition to fear him and his team manager and co-pilot Paco Orti named him accurately “Piranha”.

Ever since the beginning of his career, Wolfgang Kaufmann is characterised by his strong fighting spirit. He does not know surrender and his motto is: to attack to the fullest even when driving with inferior material.

The fact that his rivals could not only be found on the circuit, but also in form of lacking budgets or inferior material never disturbed Wolfgang.

He was already able to earn much respect as a privateer in Formula 3 racing during the 80s, which lead him to a contract with the corporate racing team of Opel managed by Horst Schübel.

Ever since his great success with Freisinger Porsche at the beginning of the 90s, it is known on international circuits, that no one should joke with the Piranha sitting in his neck.
